I am an entrepreneur who has done a fair amount of reserach on how to maximize my chances of getting funding. I have found that most VCs don't pay much attention to business plans that are unsoliscited (submitted via website, etc). They reportedly prefer to be introduced to an idea or entrepreneur and subsequently request the business plan. But I'm young, and I don't really know anyone who would be able to introduce me to a VC firm or partner. Are there services available? IS there somewhere I can find / network and make those kinds of connections?

Have you done any sort of networking or gone to any events? Might be a place to start. This will be a process that will take some time.
